5. How we use connected social data

We use information obtained from Meta and Google/YouTube solely to:

  • Display your connected social presence on your hireCreator profile
  • Sync and update follower, subscriber, and engagement statistics on your profile
  • Help brands discover creators based on audience size and engagement (when your profile is discoverable)
  • Maintain the connection so insights can be refreshed in the background

We do not sell your Meta or YouTube data. We do not use it to post content, send messages, or take actions on Facebook, Instagram, or YouTube on your behalf.

6. How we store and protect data

HTTPS Encryption
OAuth Authentication
Encrypted Access Tokens
Secure Storage
Read-only Analytics Access
  • Meta and Google/YouTube access and refresh tokens are encrypted before being stored in our database.
  • Social metrics are stored as historical snapshots and updated when background sync jobs run.
  • We use industry-standard security measures to protect data in transit (HTTPS) and at rest.

7. Who we share data with

We may share limited creator profile information with:

  • Brands on hireCreator — when you apply to campaigns or when your profile is discoverable, brands may see your public profile details and aggregated social metrics (e.g. follower counts, engagement rates).
  • Service providers — such as cloud hosting (e.g. Microsoft Azure) and email providers, only as needed to operate the platform.
  • Legal requirements — when required by law or to protect our rights and users’ safety.

We do not share your Meta or Google/YouTube access tokens with brands or other users.

8. Your choices and disconnecting social accounts

You can disconnect Facebook, Instagram, or YouTube at any time from My Profile in hireCreator by using the Disconnect button on a connected social account.

When you disconnect:

  • We mark the account as disconnected and remove stored OAuth tokens.
  • We stop syncing new insights from that platform.
  • Previously stored profile and metric data may remain until you request deletion (see Section 9).

You can also revoke hireCreator’s access directly with each provider:

9. Data retention and deletion

We retain your account and connected social data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing satoopmedia@gmail.com with the subject line “Data Deletion Request”. We will process verified requests within a reasonable timeframe.

10. Third-party services

Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google (YouTube) process data according to their own policies. When you use Meta Login or Google/YouTube authorization, their terms and privacy policies also apply:

Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

11. Children’s privacy

hireCreator is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the effective date above. Continued use of hireCreator after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
